Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch will deliver the luncheon keynote at Reynolds Harvest ’17 Clinic Aug. 23 in northern Hamilton County, but some may be unfamiliar with why the Lt. Governor is the ideal keynote speaker for the event.

Indiana’s Lieutenant Governor serves in a number of critical roles that directly impact Hoosier farmers and Indiana’s agricultural economy. The Lieutenant Governor serves as the state’s Secretary of Agriculture, helping to guide the Indiana State Department of Agriculture – an agency created in 2005 to serve as an advocate for Hoosier farmers and to fuel economic opportunity in the agricultural sector. In addition to her statewide agricultural leadership, she presides as President of the Indiana Senate, serves as the Secretary of Rural Development, and oversees the state’s Office of Community and Rural Affairs among a host of other agencies and duties.
Her unique position leading a broad group of agencies that serve rural Indiana provides a great perspective for a one-of-a-kind lunch. Here are a few topics we expect her to discuss:
