Reynolds Begins Leadership Transition; Names New CEO & President

Posted on

Happy new year!  The new year brings new opportunity, and It also brings with it an important evolution of the Reynolds Farm Equipment organization to best position our company for long-term success, growth and continued innovation: new leadership.

Starting today, we will begin a 1-year transition of our company’s senior leadership. I am delighted to announce that our Chief Marketing Officer Mitch Frazier will serve as our company’s Chief Executive Officer. As CEO, Mitch will become the company’s senior executive and will be responsible for company strategy, growth, performance and marketing. Mitch joined our team almost a year ago and has already made a big impact.  His professionalism and passion for our business has already made us better, and his energy for our team and our customers is infectious.  He’s a proven leader with experience in marketing and leadership roles with tech companies like ExactTarget and Salesforce.com and in public service with the Army and the State of Indiana.  Since joining our team, he has transformed our website, our marketing and built an incredibly strong relationship with John Deere.  He has already been named a founding member of John Deere’s dealer marketing advisory council and represented us well on stage at the statewide ag innovation summit in November. You can learn more about Mitch online at www.LinkedIn.com/in/mitchfrazier. Mitch and I will work closely with the executive team to make this a seamless transition.

In addition to naming Mitch as our CEO, my daughter Angela Hungate will serve as our next President. Angela has worked in nearly every department in our business over the past 30 years and will continue to represent our family as the senior family member in the daily business operations.  She will continue to lead account management, oversee our sales process and mange settlement operations.  Both Angela and Mitch will serve on the executive team with our Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Chris O’Neal and our Chief Financial Officer Jon Schwander. I will continue to lead the executive team as Chairman of the Board.

This is an exciting chapter in our company’s history. We are entering 62nd year in business with an incredible amount of momentum. In 2016 we posted record results and were named one of John Deere’s top dealers. Throughout our history, we’ve built a great company on family values, faith and a commitment to our customers. This organizational evolution continues that legacy and best positions Reynolds for long-term success and growth.

I am incredibly confident in the leadership team we’ve built, and I look forward to another terrific year.

Best,
Gary
