Lawn and Garden Salesperson

Full Time position available in Atlanta, IN

The Reynolds Farm Equipment Lawn and Garden Salesperson sells high quality lawn and garden and outdoor power equipment to customers. Answers customer’s questions and calls with the attitude of creating lifetime Reynolds’ customers. The Lawn and Garden Salesperson works alongside the sales staff to be as efficient as possible and provide most accurate paperwork and information to ensure the best performance for all team members. The Lawn and Garden Salesperson must practice confidentiality both in and out of dealership and maintain positive attitude while working to improve teamwork between all dealership personal. Most importantly, perform all duties with honesty, integrity, and adherence to Corporate Mission Statement.

Responsibilities:

  • Represents Reynolds for the sale of equipment to customers inside and outside the store
  • Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially salable by the dealership
  • Knows how to use and post used equipment on Craigslist
  • Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
  • Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management and CRM
  • Knows and follows a defined sales process
  • Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events
  • Conducts new equipment demonstrations for customers at the store and offsite
  • Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management
  • Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
  • Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
  • Makes sure all equipment on showroom is cleaned and priced accurately

Requirements:

  • 2+ years sales experience
  • Basic knowledge of accounting practices
  • Product knowledge of lawn and garden, turf, and outdoor power equipment preferred
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment for sale
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and work as a part of a dynamic team
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Unwavering commitment to confidentiality
  • Ability to work flexible and/or overtime hours. Saturdays included
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • College degree preferred
